Ariza Expects IESPA to Develop E-Sport Potential by Optimizing Collaboration and Education

The Jakarta Deputy Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria attended the Inauguration of Jakarta Indonesian E-Sport Association (IESPA) committee for the 2021-2026 period at Tribrata Darmawangsa, South Jakarta, Wednesday (3/23).

He conveyed that the Jakarta Government fully supported IESPA's efforts in educating the public and producing professional and outstanding e-Sport athletes.
"Steps that should be taken in developing and improving the potential of e-Sport are by collaborating and building synergy with government and other stakeholders in Jakarta. We need to continue optimizing socialization and education about e-Sport to the public. This program is important to build an image that e-Sport has positive sides," he said in his remarks as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
Governor Anies Hopes Jakarta Athletes' Achievements Continue to ImproveThe role of the E-Sport Association in educating the public and producing outstanding professional athletes was not only important but also urgent to be realized optimally, especially in producing outstanding professional athletes.
"As an organization that accommodates and supports e-Sport, I believe IESPA can develop and improve the players' quality and get the best achievements that Jakarta IESPA can be proud of," he mentioned.
In this event, he hopes the IESPA committee could take concrete steps to develop e-Sport, educate the public, and produce outstanding professional athletes.
Moreover, he expected IESPA to be more active in participating in events and show enthusiasm and determination in dedicating time, energy, thoughts to develop and advance e-Sport in Jakarta.
"Congratulations to Anindyo Suhardono who has been elected as Jakarta IESPA General Chairperson and all members who run the wheels of Jakarta IESPA. Hopefully, all can be trusted in carrying out their duties, work professionally, and be full of responsibility according to AD/ART and IESPA's vision," he closed.
